One of my friend’s wife was just diagnosed with second stage breast cancer. She’s 27 years old. It’s aggressive. So scarey. A different childhood friend of mine that moved away died of cancer last year. My neighbor down the street died from it about 5 years ago when we were 18. One of my closest friends died of brain cancer when we were only 13. It scares the shit out of me. I’ve had friends watch family members suffer. Details aren’t important actually, I’ve just witnessed the illness too many times in my 23 years of living.
So much money is poured into finding a cure .. while the research has come so far, it’s never far enough. Going to bed. Upset.
